As the number of prisoners decline, and the payroll budget goes up, it becomes clear that potential savings are not being passed back to the taxpayers, and the budget is not being used effectively or to its maximum potential.

Yes, it is always good to operate “within” a budget, but how you use that budget reflects one’s priorities.

If elected, I will utilize the budget and current staff to provide more robust educational offerings, as well as bring home women currently incarcerated in Chicopee, and provide needed programs to create an award winning facility.
